End of Season

I am very proud of the way our kids played this season.  Especially in the last two games against UE.  They showed that you can't measure heart like you can size, speed and strength.  Although the we didn't win the Section 4 title,  our team played with pride and a passion that all of Vestal can be proud of.  I think that anyone who saw our game last night would agree with that.

Believe me, I have never seen the calls from the officiating have such an impact on any game as last nights.  (Or lack of calls)  Give UE credit though.  They made the plays when they needed to.

That being said, we need to incourage our underclassmen to prepare for next season right now.  There is no off season if we want to make this thing work.  There will be weight room times set up shortly and I expect everyone to participate.

For the graduating seniors, you will be missed.  You guys gave all that you could give to Vestal Football and for that I say thank you.  Remember the journey and always remember that you are winners with me.
